Exhibition Design & Execution Leader
Nirmit Vikamsey is Marketing Director at Vasant Creative; he oversees exhibition strategy, business development, client servicing, and design coordination. In 2018, he started learning hands-on in the exhibition industry, visiting project sites and offices to learn how design, production, and on-the-ground execution work together. He joined Vasant Creative full-time in August 2022. As part of the third generation of the company, he has worked on projects from small custom display booths to large-format corporate pavilions, mezzanine stands, and international exhibitions, gaining knowledge in both the creative and operational parts of the business.
Nirmit's work centers on understanding what a brand actually needs from an exhibition: their business objectives, the audience they want to reach, and how their products or services should be presented within the space. His experience covers the full project arc, from the initial brief through design development, commercial planning, and coordination with design and execution teams, through to final delivery on site.
His focus areas include exhibition booth design and construction, large-format pavilions, mezzanine stands, and international exhibition projects. A significant part of his work involves helping Indian brands exhibit internationally and supporting international companies with their exhibition requirements in India.
At Vasant Creative, Nirmit works closely with clients from the earliest brief stage through to on-ground delivery, coordinating between design, production, and execution teams. He's particularly drawn to the execution phase, where months of planning come down to a few days on site and multiple teams need to align before an exhibition opens.
Nirmit contributes content grounded in first-hand project experience, covering exhibition strategy, design coordination, booth construction, and what's involved in exhibiting successfully both in India and internationally.
Nirmit was educated at The Scindia School, Gwalior, and holds a bachelor's degree in Banking & Insurance from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. He has also completed an Advanced Certification in Digital Marketing from IIDE – The Digital School, and Essentials of Entrepreneurship: Thinking and Action from the University of California, Irvine – The Paul Merage School of Business.
